Suzy TooToo's 2006 Misadventures - "Maturing to a New Level"

By editing all the previous stories for the book "The Misadventures of Suzy TooToo", I became not only a bit of an editor but a better writer. Starting with the Blind Lugist, the misadventures are more complete - the characters were three dimensional. Many of Suzy's loyal fans have favourites on this page including the "Blind Lugist", "Slam Dunk Suzy", "Back to the Suzy" and "Le Grand Orange".

	Pillow Talk	February 6 2006	A poorly written classified ad in the East York Mirror actually said "Volunteers needed to help people die."
	The Blind Lugist	February 26 2006	I had this one pretty much written in early '05 but held off for the Winter Olympics. I watched hours and hours of luge coverage to get all the lingo correct.
	Slam Dunk Suzy	March 19 2006	While attending a Raptor game with my friend Chris Baskys, I came up with the slam dunking fat suit. Ironically, Antonio Davis was put on waivers within a week of posting my story.
	The Mugger	May 1 2006	I wondered how Suzy would handle being mugged.
	Le Grand Orange	May 21 2006	My friend Sean Ruppel told me that if he was a billionaire he would hire pirates to scare people on their yachts while sailing Lake Ontario.
	Bike to the Suzy	June 16 2006	I worked for the Ontario Cycling Association. I was due for a cycling story.
	Artnophobia	July 23 2006	My friend Nena Snyder and I went to a free open house at the McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg. As we walked through the museum, we came up with the story.
	Al Cheapo	August 26 2006	I wanted to write a story about Le Grand Orange trying to abuse the legal system. It began with my friend Chris Baskys and I having a conversation about suing someone over body parts.
	Kissing Brad Pitt	October 11 2006	My friends Alex and Rebecca and I went to the red carpet ceremony for Brad Pitt's new movie at the Toronto Film Festival. Although Alex and I could not see him through the crowd, Rebecca thinks she saw Brad Pitt's head.
	The Chocolate Recall	November 29 2006	Shortly after Halloween, due to a salamela poisoning potential, a Nestle factory announced a massive chocolate recall. Naturally this was a Le Grand Orange story. Rachel created Sally, Violet and Kook.
