I really did stumble upon a free stamp show at the fairgrounds. Inside was an exihibit of "the story behind the stamps". I just happen to spot the Pontyclown post mark.

My friend Gaetan Martin needed to buy a hoodie for his girlfriend's brother. Our friend Steve Bode and I went inside the store with him but quickly left. We sat outside and I commented on how I felt old - like someone's parent.

Toronto had a group protesting throughout the city for about a month. They mainly stayed in front of the US Consulate but did venture onto the expressway for one evening.

I always had the idea of a Mexican super hero named Captain Taco, floating in my mind. When visas became mandatory for Mexicans visiting Canada, I knew I had my story.

The last two lines of the story were the first two lines I wrote.

In 2004, I went with my friends Geoff Cairns and Leslie to a Liverpool friendly at Skydome. I snagged some pictures knowing it would one day be a Suzy story.

Keighley is named after the English village where I got lost. The players' names are players on my imaginary Keighley team in Play Station's FIFA '07.

While shopping for a Sandra present at Bath and Body Works, I came across their Sleep Lotion. I was apalled by the smell.

The next day, while waiting for the Ghost Walk gang to arrive, I wrote the story. It took only an hour.

Ironically the Count is in fact a vampire. Who knew?

I was on an Air Canada flight that was showing movies before they were released to DVD. I thought "There is money in this if I bootlegged it."

Then I remembered how many I paid for the flight.

Tokens

Whenever the TTC increases fares, people horde tokens. The TTC wasn't prepared for the latest hording resulting in bizarre token purchasing policies.

I came up with the idea after my sister told me about her TTC Token misadventure - The long lines, the lack of tokens, the lack of friendly TTC booth collectors.

Of course, when my sister got to the booth, she grinned and asked for 100 tokens. The TTC man was not amused.
